Australian brides have their own unique styles for their Bridal Jewellry! I just love my “Aussie” brides as I am thrilled to create in bright crystal colors. Reds tend to be in the forefront for Australia Bridal Jewelry and the picture below is one example of using red in your bridal tiara. This sweet Australian bride looked everywhere to try and find a red Swarovski Crystal Tiara band that would be unique and would match the crystals on her wedding gown. Her dress was a a beautiful red satin long halter style gown with Swarovski crystals scattered throughout. The bride had dark brunette hair so it was important to use a bright enough red to show up. I mainly used the Light Siam Swarovski crystals and mixed in a light amount of the Siam crystals which were more medium red to create texture and shape for the eye. The style of tiara is the Nicole Bridal Tiara band. She wore her hair up with a loose up do and cascading style curls and this tiara was gently placed at a slight angle in the front of her updo. She looked magnificent, an exotic princess. She then wanted ot have matching jewelry as red was the theme for their wedding. For her bridal jewellry we determined that a multi strand crystal bracelet and medium crystal drop earrings would be a perfect accent to her gown and tiara. Her halter neckline precluded a necklace and to be honest, the curves and plunge of the halter neckline was so beautiful you would not want to take away from the lines of the dress.
What I really love about creating Australia Bridal Jewellry is that they really want to wear bridal jewelry that is completely different from anyone else and they are willing to seek outside of the country to find it. So here is the style bracelet we chose to accent her gown. I created the bridal bracelet in the same color combination as her tiara and then we added a simple long drop crystal earring to match. Many times with halter style dresses brides will choose to wear a bracelet on each arm which is also quite a stunning photo. Adding in a multi strand bracelet created a beautiful balance to accent her dress. Below is a picture of the final result. I just love this picture of the bride with her momma, you can easily see what a fun filled day they were having.
My local Seattle brides are always surprised to hear that brides from other countries have me create their custom jewelry. The reality is that we all influenced differently in our designs and it is so important that we wear jewelry that truly fits our personal style for our wedding day! Even though there is certainly a great distance between Seattle and Australia, the wonders of the Internet, email and telephone can make it easier to receive a jewelry consultation. Whether a bride is located in the United States or outside of the country, I always provide detailed consultations to help brides make their choice. This is imperative and although I certainly can send lengthy consultations, pictures and suggestions, (that is just my perfectionist way) I find that brides really appreciate the thoughts and ideas and can feel confident that I will create the perfect bridal accessories for them. This allows us to correspond and I am able to visualize what they want as their perfect bridal jewelry.
Here is a testimonial I just have to share with you from on of my Aussie brides who purchased her custom bridal jewelry and bridal tiara hair comb from Australia. When she wrote to me, she asked that I share this with brides as she felt it was so important for new brides to know that it can be easy and fun to have your own custom bridal jewelry created!
“Judith helped me pick the right stones, pearls and colors all via email to and from Central Australia! Judith not only gave me fantastic advice – but made the most stunning jewellery to compliment both myself and my dress. I would not hesitate to purchase jewellery through Judith in the future – nor will I hesitate in recommending her to other Aussies (who can rest assured that distance will not be an issue when organizing Judith’s beautiful products).
