Bridal Jewelry

Choosing bridal jewelry can sometimes be overwhelming, however, it does not need to be!   Our jewelry has a powerful connection to our heart and our femininity. I always recommend that you follow your own intuition when selecting your bridal jewelry.   I always say there is truly a look a bride gives herself when she has found just the right jewelry set. When we look into the mirror we can truly see ourselves in the jewelry on our wedding day. It is the same look when you find the perfect gown.  I feel that it is important to choose a style which truly reflects who you are and then I like to suggest to take it up one notch, after all it is your wedding day!  I am going to provide you with some ideas of shapes and styles that nicely accent certain necklines and styles of bridal gowns which will give you some ideas to think about.

Bridal jewelry for strapless gowns has the most flexibility with choices.  Really, believe me that you can pretty much wear any style of bridal jewelry with your gown.  You can wear a round style necklace, y style drop necklace, a multi strand necklace or a vintage style bridal choker.  P1011694 Here is an example of a multi drop necklace which goes lovely with strapless gowns that have clear crystal beading on them.  I always think it is pretty to think of creating a picture frame, meaning a snapshot just like we would in a photo shoot.  This  bridal jewelry set gives enough sparkle as an accent and yet will allow your dress to still be in the forefront.  Add a crystal drop set of earrings with a single strand crystal bracelet can complete the look.

Here’s another fun look for your bridal jewelry which I created for a bride who was wearing a Blush color bridal gown.  P1011777 The gown was strapless and had a beautiful bustle look with a long train. There was light scattered beading of clear crystals  and a dusty rose embroidery on the bodice. The dress had a very regal look to it and really need bridal jewelry accessories to create a balanced look.  She was wanting more of that regal elegance look and this bridal choker was created to pick up the color of the dress into her jewelry using Vintage Rose Swarovski Crystals and powdered rose pearls. I added in a light scattering of crystal moonlight crystals to capture the beading on her dress.  You can easily see how easy it can be to truly transform your look with your bridal jewelry as the added accent.

Bridal Jewelry for sweetheart necklines really requires wearing a necklace that has a drop to it. For one thing we are always in search of elongating our necks and there is just something really beautiful about wearing a bridal jewelry piece that Y drops down towards the neckline.  P1012450 Here is an example of a classic style bridal necklace with a y drop teardrop pearl.  This bridal jewelry set is on of my most popular as it will accent nicely with any neckline.  The pearls pick up the dress color and adding the crystal you can have an accent to crystal beading on the dress.  And remember the elongating of our necks? Yes, this necklace has a wonderful way of doing just that!

Bridal jewelry as a  a pearl and crystal bridal choker compliments P1011402 sweetheart necklines and I have seen this choker worn with strapless, sweetheart necklines, capped sleeves and it is a great compliment when there is not a lot of beading on your dress.  The bridal choker brings in the sparkle and it really is quite pretty with dresses that have silver or gold decorative embroider with a scattering of crystals and pearls.

Hope fully I have inspired you with some bridal jewelry ideas for your dress.  As you know I will keep adding in ideas this spring to keep you inspired in finding just the right bridal jewelry for your wedding day.
